Morning seaweed Cleanup — Boynton Beach, Delray & Boca

This Saturday August 30th , our Kelps crew joined forces with neighbors from Boynton Beach, Delray, and Boca for a two-hour sargassum cleanup. We focused especially in front of sea turtle nests to make sure hatchlings had a clear path to the ocean. Under the guidance of Sea Turtle Adventures, we were able to rescue and release a few dozen baby turtles safely into the water. 🌊🐢 We may not be marine biologists—but we’re proud to be beach cleaners doing our part!

Everything we collected is part of a full circular process: the sargassum is cleaned, dried, shredded, and blended with plastic waste picked up on the beach, then taken to our workshop to be molded into flip-flops—100% recycled and fully recyclable.
